Not long ago, I talked to a brilliant young lady who characteristics new invention that she would like to market to society. Of course, she already has a day job, but she like to use this as her ticket out of the 9-to-5 world, and help launch her career as a successful venture, innovator, and entrepreneur. I so applaud such desire to succeed in the free-market. If so, start designing your prototype, to determine if people like it, if they do go file a provisional patent, patent an invention pending, and a little bit of test sales on eBay, Craigslist, and/or Amazon.

Try some social networking with your friends and family to see if you can get some buzz going, if things take off, then you can quit your job.
